Cash Flow & Profit

The 6 Ways Cash Flow System, installed in your business.

Profit on paper and cash in the bank are two different things. Six levers decide how much cash the business holds and how fast it moves. We install the system with you, one-on-one, week by week, on your real numbers.

Who this is for

Profitable on paper, tight at the bank

For established business owners whose accountant says the business made money and whose bank balance disagrees. If the problem is margin and sales rather than timing, that is the 6 Ways Profit System.

Always waiting

The money is earned. It is just not here yet.

Invoices out, payroll due, suppliers calling. The work is done and the cash is sitting in someone else’s account or on your shelves.

Growth that drains

Every good month costs cash

Bigger jobs mean more stock, more wages and more waiting to be paid. Growth is eating the working capital that was supposed to come from it.

Owner as the bank

You are funding the business personally

Delayed salary, personal credit, a line of credit that never goes back to zero. The business should fund itself, and this system is how.

The system

The six ways cash flow improves

Each lever either brings cash in sooner, keeps it in the business longer, or stops it leaving. Each one has a dollar value we can calculate before you touch it.

1

Increase pricing

A small, tested price increase on the right products or services is the fastest cash lever there is. On $500,000 of revenue, 5% is $25,000 with no extra work.

2

Reduce cost of goods sold

Supplier terms, buying smarter, less waste, tighter labour hours on the job. On $300,000 of direct costs, 10% is $30,000 back in the business.

3

Reduce debtors

Get paid faster: deposits, progress payments, payment on delivery, and a collections rhythm that runs without you. Cutting debtor days from 60 to 50 on $100,000 owed frees about $16,700.

4

Reduce inventory

Cash sitting on a shelf is still cash. Move slow stock, bundle it, order what sells, and turn inventory days into dollars in the account.

5

Increase creditor days

Pay on your terms, not by habit. Negotiated supplier terms and smart use of payment cycles keep cash in the business longer, while every supplier still gets paid on time.

6

Reduce overheads

The subscriptions, leases, fees and quiet costs that crept in over the years. A line-by-line review usually finds money nobody is using.

Why it is calculated before it is done

Every one of the six has a formula. Price increase times revenue. Cost reduction times cost of goods. Days saved times what is owed. We put your figures into each one first, add them up, and you see the working capital the system can free before any of it is installed. Then we install the biggest, easiest one first.

How we install it

Measure. Improve. Measure again.

You work one-on-one with a Business Performance Coach, every week. Each quarter is a 13-week cycle: one week to onboard and plan, then twelve weekly sessions. Debtor days, inventory days, creditor days, margin and overheads go on your business owner dashboard in week one, and every session after that starts with them.

Measure

Start with the real numbers

We baseline the six levers from your actual profit and loss, balance sheet and cash position, and put a dollar value on each one. That is the scoreboard.

Improve

One lever at a time

From hundreds of proven cash flow strategies, your Business Performance Coach helps you choose the one that frees the most cash for the least disruption, and you install it that week.

Measure again

Test, measure, keep what works

Every week the numbers come back. What worked becomes a system the business runs without you. What did not gets changed. Then the next lever.

We move as fast as your business can take it, and we are honest that cash flow is fixed over cycles, not overnight. Suppliers, customers, staff and stock all have their own timing, which is exactly why it needs a system, a rhythm and someone beside you who has installed it before.

Questions owners ask

Before you apply

Do I need to be a numbers person?

No. You need to be willing to look at a handful of numbers once a week. Your Business Performance Coach builds the dashboard with you and explains every figure in plain language until you can explain it to your accountant. That is the test we use.

Will raising prices lose me customers?

Tested properly, rarely. We test small increases on specific products or services, measure the response, and keep what holds. Most owners are underpriced and find out the market barely notices.

My cash problem is urgent. Is two weeks too slow?

The trial is where the fastest moves get found. Debtors, pricing and overheads can change within days of session two, and the plan puts the quickest cash first. If the situation needs an accountant or a lender involved, we say so early.

Is this the same as the 6 Ways Profit System?

No. Cash flow is when you have the money; profit is how much you earn. The 6 Ways Profit System works on leads, conversion, retention, transactions, average sale and margin. Many owners need both, and the trial tells you which one comes first.
